Build an itinerary

Manager

The itinerary is the backbone of the trip. Each item has a day or date, a time, an activity title, a location, and optional notes.

Itinerary item fields

FieldExample
Day / DateDay 1 โ€” 15 March 2026
Time08:00
CategoryTravel, Accommodation, Activity, Meals, Others
ActivityHotel pickup and departure (the title auto-generates from the category unless you type your own)

Location- and notes-style details are category-specific โ€” e.g. an accommodation address, a meal dietary note, or a flight's terminals โ€” rather than standalone fields. See Categories below.

How to add itinerary items

  1. Open the trip from the dashboard.
  2. The itinerary card is on the Overview tab.
  3. Click Add in the itinerary card header.
  4. Fill in the fields and click Add row.

Items are ordered by day and time. They render as a scrollable day-by-day list.

Categories

Each item has a category (Travel, Accommodation, Activity, Meals, or Others). The category drives the icon, the colour-coding on the PDF itinerary, and any extra fields:

  • Travel โ€” mode (flight, train, ferry, coach, taxi, Grab, car, transit, transfer), direction (departure / arrival / transfer for flights), operator / airline, reference / flight number, from / to, terminal.
  • Accommodation โ€” property type (hotel, apartment, chalet, motel).
  • Activity โ€” sub-type (Sight-Seeing, Visit, Free & Easy, Briefing, Tour) with free-text details.
  • Meals โ€” meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, other).
  • Others โ€” free-text summary.

Category titles auto-generate in the dotted PDF format (e.g. Travel-Departure-Flight) unless you type your own title.

Timezones

Every trip has a timezone (set on the Trip details form). Itinerary item times are shown in that zone in the admin table and in the PDF.

โœ“tip

If an item happens in a different zone (e.g. a flight landing in another country), set a per-item timezone override when editing the item. The day header keeps the trip zone; the item shows its own zone abbreviation.
