Tour rating

ManagerAgent

When a trip ends, TourRelay produces a Tour rating — a quick, at-a-glance feel for how the trip went. There is nothing extra to fill in.

info

The rating link appears only on completed trips. A trip is completed once today's date (in the trip timezone) is past the end date.

What the rating tells you

The overall percentage sits in the centre of a donut chart, with three dimensions around it. Together they give a sense of whether the tour ran on time, whether the agent captured what happened, and how smoothly it all went.

DimensionWhat it captures
TimelinessWhether the tour ran on time or slipped behind schedule.
FullfilnessHow fully the agent captured what actually happened.
CalmnessHow smoothly the trip went, beyond the plan.

Hover the info icon (ⓘ) next to any dimension on the chart for a one-line reminder of what it captures.

info

The rating is a feel, not a formula or an audit. Use it as a prompt to ask the right questions, not to rank trips or agents.

How to open it

  1. Open a completed trip.
  2. Click View rating → (next to the completed-trip notice).
  3. The page shows the overall rating, a chart, a per-item breakdown, and the list of incident reports.

Incident reports

An incident is any unplanned event worth recording — a delay, a missed pickup, a complaint, a lost item.

To file an incident report

  1. Open the trip while it is upcoming or ongoing.
  2. Click Incident report in the itinerary toolbar.
  3. Fill in the title, date, time, location, and a description.
  4. Optionally attach supporting photos.
  5. Submit.
warning

Incident reports lock when the trip locks — the same gate as itinerary edits. File them while the trip is still active.

Assigned agents can also file incident reports from their trip view.

Share the rating

Once a trip's rating is ready, you can share it two ways from the rating page.

A report link is a read-only public URL (/r/<token>) that shows the trip's overall rating, the chart, the per-item breakdown, and the incident reports — no sign-in required. Use it to share a completed trip's outcome with anyone outside TourRelay.

  • Click Create report link to mint the URL, then Copy report link to copy it.
  • Rotate link issues a fresh URL; the previous one stops working immediately.
  • Revoke link disables the report entirely. Travellers can no longer open it.
info

Only a manager can create, rotate, or revoke a report link. The link grants read-only access to the completed trip's report — it cannot edit anything.

Share rating on WhatsApp

If WhatsApp is set up for your agency, Share rating sends the tour rating to every traveller on the trip as a WhatsApp message.
